Hanauma Bay State Park
On the island of Oahu is Hanauma Bay State Park. It is a short drive from Honolulu, which is the capital of Hawaii and is a popular port on a Hawaii cruise. Hanauma bay is protected and is a marine life conservation area. It is known for being one of the best places to go snorkeling. When snorkeling here, you can see hundreds of different kinds of tropical fish and lots of green sea turtles.
Haleakala National Park
Haleakala National Park is located on the island of Maui. In Hawaiian, Haleakala means “house of the sun”. When you visit here, you can either hike or drive up the Haleakala volcanic crater. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park
Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, located in Hilo, Hawaii, is home to two active volcanoes, Maunaloa and Kilauea. Kilauea is one of the most active volcanoes on the earth. On a visit here you can also hike through volcanic craters and see Pu‘u Loa Petroglyphs.
Waimea Canyon State Park
Waimea Canyon, located on the island of Kauai, is known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific.
